How I got started

I started out auto-crossing in the SCCA when I was eight in a Trackmagic. In 2005 I took part in the Red Bull Driver Search & took a racing class at Infineon Raceway, that also helped me succeed in these past two seasons. After that I got a seasons ride in an 85cc tag, from Bob Snow of Snow Racing Engines. Bob Snow taught me all of the essentials of racing, and got me started in my own kart for this season.

Goals for the Future

It`s all up in the air as of right now, it all depends on what happens in the next couple of months. Altough my main focus is to get into cars next year or late this year, the choices that I have at the current time are: The regional series of Skip Barber Racing School, Stars of karting`s west coast series, or race the Rotax Junior Class at my local club. Although these options are what I am looking at now, I am open to doing almost anything.

What inspires you to compete?

The feeling that I get whenever I do something well, like winning a race or qualifying on pole. The overall feeling of a whole race weekend, whether it be working on the kart or just shooting the breeze with my friends, inspires me to compete. The passion for the sport that I feel inside pushes me to compete. Seeing the guys in Formula 1 or any other major racing series, how they have made it and succeded pushes me to achieve for myself.

Music?

I love music. I play the guitar in my spare time, but my favorite instrument has to be the drums. I play the drums in a garage band with my friends from school.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Regardless as to whether I make a profession out of driving or not, i want to go to college. I plan on mastering in mechanical engineering. After that I hope to jsut stick with racing for the rest of my life.
