How I got started
I began racing on a kx 80 at the Las Vegas track from ages eight thru ten. From ages 18 to 20, I did a lot of pre running for Danny Hamel. At age 28, I purchased a 1999 yz 250 and began training with my brother. At the start of the 2000 season, we started racing local amateur events at Mesquite Raceway. My first race back, I placed 2nd in the 250 beg class. At that time I felt that I should move up to the junior class where I had some good results finishing in the top three for the next three races . We were invited to go race A Day In The Dirt in Palmdale C.A. where I placed 11th. In 2001, I raced at Mesquite Raceway in the junior 250 class again on a 2001 yz 250 where I had 3 podium finishes. I returned to A Day In The Dirt and finished 9th place that year. In 2002, I started racing in the vet class where I finished 1st at Star West mx round two of their nite series and 3rd at Las Vegas Speedway . I also attended a two day school with Donnie Hansen in 2002.this last year i was able to get 1st oa vet 30 @day in the dirt also lorrettas qual in mesquite wich was one of my better acomplishments.
Goals for the Future
In 2006 I will be striving to finish in the top 10 of the vet expert class in the World Off-Road Championship Series, N.M.A. Ponca City Grand National Championships, Loretta Lynn National Championships. In addtion, I plan on racing the team races with my brother in the World Off-Road Championship Series and numerous amateur motocross races in California, Nevada and Utah.
