Well, bike racing season is over, for me at least, and its time for me to start tuning up my boards for the winter. My season of downhill racing was awesome, and I feel it keept my mind sharp and in the zone for the upcoming snowboard race season. I'll be racing in the USASA Open Class this year, and I'll be competeing in all 5 disciplines; Boardercross, Slalom, Giant Slalom, Halfpipe, and Slopestyle. I'm going for the overall, as well as individual titles.
I hope everyone had a great Halloween, and I'll see ya when the snow starts fallin.

super stoked. I got second for the overall series and 1st for the Indycross series. Next year I move into the ameteur class. For now, I'm gearing up for what looks like a sick snowboard season. I just talked to the guys over at J List LTD Clothing, and I'm way pumped to say that they're gonna hook me up with some sweet new clothes for the winter.mJ List is a newer company based not to far from where I live, so its gonna be awesome to rep a local company. Check em out and tell em I sent ya!

down, but there is still some pain. Should be back in action within a week or so. Just in time for the final round of the Diablo Gravity Series.

Day 2. The pain and suffering continues. After a full night of rest the pain is still ridiculas and the bruising has gotten worse. The swelling seemed to go down a bit tho. Initially I just assumed I had sprained my thumb. It has swollen up even more, hurts more, and I cant really bend it.I think it may actually be broken.

Injury report for Diablo Downhill. Today was the second day of round 4 of the Diablo Gravity Series. What started off as a great day turned horrible in the blink of an eye. The skys were sunny, the air was cool and the Downhill course was SICK! I took a good number of low speed practice runs, found the good lines, and was ready for race speed pracitce. 3/4 of the way down the course, AFTER, the really technichal stuff, I cliped the edge of my front tire on a rock and highsided. Judging by the dents in the grass and dirt, I flew about 12-15 feet out and 4 or 5 feet down. A quick chat with the medics, and race day was officially over.
I wound up with a few bruised ribs and a couple of possible hairline fractures that cant be seen on the X-rays, a badly bruised hip and pelvis, a sprined thumb, and a massive hematoma on the left side of my abdomen. Not to mention a battered ego.
A few days in bed, some pain killers and muscle relaxers are the Doc's orders. Cant argue

Constant rain made the course nice and slick. A quick little washout on a berm scrubbed enough speed that I couldnt clear the final double. That cost me less than a second, and First place. @nd place is good, but not good enough for me.

Slalom at Diablo Freeride Park tomorrow. 45 seconds of mind numbing berms, rollers, doubles , and dont forget speed. Competition is stiff but I should be able to pull in another victory.

Gravity Series. Saturday is Giant Slalom and Sunday is Downhill. I plan on being on top of the podium 2 more times this weekend. If anyone is gonna be around the Vernon NJ area, stop by and cheer for me.
