Overview

How I got started

BMX since a kid. Built a road bike in grade school. Taught and trained myself. Founding member of Kansas State Cycling Team. Added MTB on a recreational basis in college to supplement road training. More serious about dirt racing the last 2 seasons.

Goals for the Future

Dropping out of the Clydesdale class (literally) and moving up to Sport. Adding more regional events from the Oklahoma Tour de Dirt series.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

Camaraderie. Love of riding, no matter how much it hurts sometimes.

Describe your style...

Steady. Conserve energy to chase down competitors when they start to tire. Stay smooth despite my size.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

12-18 miles of rocky / rooted trails at Turkey Mountain 2-3 times a week. Did over 160 miles of base training in January 06 for the upcoming season thanks to warm weather and light job schedule. Indoor rollers when weather or schedule doesn`t permit outdoor training.
