How I got started
I started racing at 12-years old and won my first race. In my first year I was NAG 11, Central Gold Cup Champion and Grand National Champion. The following year I held the title of Central Gold Cup Champion and was Colorado State Champion. In my third year my family and I toured the circuit in a motor home and raced most of the ABA races. I finished the year in NAG 10, remained the CO state Champion, and was the Colorado District Champion. I moved to California in my fourth year to concentrate on my training and have the opportunity to ride year round. I finished the year with a NAG 3 in class and a NAG 6 in cruiser. In my fifth year I worked to stay consistent and finished with a NAG 4 in class and a NAG 3 in cruiser. I took a first place in class or cruiser at 20 national events that season.
I made the decision to turn A-Pro at Reno in 2003, and placed 2nd and 5th in class, and 6th in cruiser. Following that I worked hard to turn AA Pro, and I am still working on my goal to be the #1 AA Pro! Last year I attended the first ever UCI Olympic Training camp for BMX in Switzerland, I was the only American rider to be selected for this program. Since then my carerre has went to the moon!
At the begining of last season I became one of the two rider Pro Team for Avent Bombshell. In my first year as a factory pro I have made most of my mains, won one, and made national top 10 in NBL. I made the main event in cruiser at the `06 worlds and have made a strong name for myself on the racing curcit. I now am a top pro and will let nothing stop me from becoming number 1! I of course want to represent USA in the `08 Olymipcs!
