Q&A - Personal

What inspires you to compete?

Having a love for the sport keeps me going. Just being at the track and feeling the vibe is awesome!

Why do you like this sport?

I not only like this sport I love it. It so cool to watch guys like Ricky Carmichael take a 100 ft jump and clear it like its nothing.

Why do you compete?

I compete beacuse I wanna be like the professionals. Its so awesome to watch them race and see thier riding style!

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

The most embarrassing moment was when I was going out and racing for my first time on a big bike. I got to the line all pumped up ready to rock n roll! The gate dropped and I staled my bike.

Music?

I like to listen to R&B and rock to get me pumped up for my races!

Goal for Future

My Goals for the future are to go to the Baltimore Arena cross, make it to the main, and place in the top ten! I also want to keep impressing my sponsors and show them that I am the kid that they should be sponsoring. I also want to move out of C class and go into B. Loretta Lynn’s is also on my mind for 2008!

How it all started

I started racing motocross about mid season last year (07).  I got started by my brother getting a XR 80 and always riding it.  Then at the beginning of the summer I got a CRF 150 that I took to my friend’s house and racing was introduced to me.  I have always wanted to ride a dirt bike but never got the chance so when I got one I took off.  I have been around racing all my life but it was finally my turn to show what I got.  So my friend’s dad told my dad about this race in the Delmarva MX Series at the track The Landing MX.  When we got there I came out strong finishing 5th in my first race.  After that I went to Middleford Speedway were I finished 5th.  Then I went to Blue Diamond MX Park and finish with a good hard 2nd.  Then found another race at Middle ford Speedway and finished 2nd.   After that race I wanted to go bigger and go faster so I bought a RMZ-250 and raced at Blue Diamond to finish 24th.  At the end of the season I finished 7th in points.

Expirence

I have just finished my first complete year on a big bike of racing. It was a pretty good learning year. I picked up a couple new techniques and have been using them to improve my position. I did miss a couple of races due to my bike blowing up but I bounced back better than I thought getting an 8th just two races after getting back to riding!
