Overview

How I got started

Persistence! By asking my Dad, ok bugging, for the past 3-4 years to get a bike. My parents bought my 1st bike (a Honda xr70) for my 11th Birthday, which was AWESOME, but I quickly outgrew and moved up to a YZ80. I poured my heart into practicing and getting in top shape, while maintaining A/B honor roll as required by my parents, then just before my 1st local race (Nov 2005) I blew the top end 2hrs into Saturdays practice!! My Dad is AMAZING but he couldn`t get it repaired for the race, SO, he went the extra mile and bought me a 2004 KX85 from one of the other racers that night. I DID race the next day in the beginners 85cc class!! It was awesome. I caught a gate my first run, but in my second heat I finished 4th on a bike I had barely ever ridden!! I am hooked!

Goals for the Future

To race in as many events as possible I want to qualify for Lorretta Lynn`s!!

Bio

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Catching a gate, my 1st heat at my first race...Guess I was just a bit too excited...it happens, but at least, I went for it anyway and finished ahead of a couple of much more experienced guys!

Some Personal Information About Me:

I want to sincerely thank the DirtFarm for their tireless support, as well as, my other sponsors WeaponMX, Renthal, Osiris Shoes, Tek Bolt, MotoGraph-X, FiberWise Pastafor believeing in me! THANKS!

Describe your style...

My style is something like Bubba Stewart meets Gary Semics. I go all out and push my limits, but I definely focus on the basics, and look for a strong finish vs. injury. Consistency!

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I work out with my Dad 3x/week, and practice at the DirtFarm in Folkston GA. (THANKS Mr. Gooch!) 1-2 times/week. My practice sessions will increase 3-4 times/week as soon as school ends. Right now as much as I love racing, school comes 1st...but, as soon as its over, "school" will REALLY be in session!

How's Life Treating You?

Life does not get much better!!! I am 12, and I`ve got AWESOME support and sponsors -Thanks Mom & Dad!! I also want to thank Dirtfarm racing for an awesome practice facility, support, and keeping my bike in top condition! Now if I can just get them to agree to home schooling, so I can spend ALOT more time at the track...hmmmm

Competitive Highlights

4th place in my first race. Which was an awesome learning experience in getting around downed riders. So, although I would have place higher, I won`t be making that mistake again, anytime soon!
