wowee, if that's your goal, I'd probably either quit school and start workin', or find a cheaper bike. Or bug the crap out of your parents until they give in, or convice you that by the time you are 65 and have the money you would be wanting to ride a niner singlespeed. |

ahh, there WERE great deals at Ibex for a pretty substantial downhill bike, but they took them off the website. The lowest I've seen downhill bikes new are around $1,500. Either used, or older models can go for $1,000. |
