Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
I started out as a fan in 1980 when I was at the age of 2. As I got older, I started working on the race cars and then in 2007 I got an opportunity to drive one of the teams cars and from that point all I wanted to do is to drive a race car. In 2008, I finally became a driver.
List your competitive highlights:
1999 Portland Speedway - Won Trophy Dash as Crew Chief
2008 Portland Roadster Show Participant
2008 Sunset Speedway - Rookie of the Year ( Pure Stock Division), Best Of Show Award (Pure Stock Division), Featured on track T-Shirt, Featured car in track’s newspaper print ad (Nickel Ads)
What are you planning for next season?
My 2009 plan is to hopefully compete for the full 17 race season and contend for the championship. My ultimate goal for the '09 season is to WIN the championship!
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
I would say my biggest accomplishment so far is winning the 2008 Sunset Speedway Pure Stock Rookie of the Year award!
