How I got started

my dad bought me a pw 80 when i was about 6, we decided to start racing when i turned 12. Since then i have raced a rm80 , then I moved into an 85, now im racing a crf250

What inspires you to compete?

everything my family puts into the sport

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

My first race. I was doing half descent and i shot straight up in the air on the smallest jump on the track, right in front of the grand stand. I wasn`t hurt but i couldn`t finish because my bike was really messed up and wouldnt start. So i had to push off right in front of everyone after wrecking on the smallest jump on the track.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I stay after school monday, tuesday, thursday, and friday and work out in the gym.  My routine consists of bench pressing, flys, dips, ab workouts, and cardio workouts on the treadmill and bike.  Wednesdays i play indoor soccer from 4-6.  In the spring through the summer i try to ride tuesdays and thursdays rather than lifting.  By mid summer i am riding 3 nights Monday Wednesday and Thursday, and lifting Tuesday, On friday I just take an easy run, and prepare for saturday and sunday.

Music?

My favorite group is pearl jam.  I also enjoy nirvana, shinedown, beastie boys, and some country like montgomery gentry.

Why do you compete?

I love the sport..I meet so many new people and always have fun. I am improving more and more everytime i ride and always having fun.
