Overview

How I got started

My dad and I started riding together just as something to do for fun. As I started getting better and more confident he took to a track on a practice day. I loved it! Now it is all I want to do.

Goals for the Future

To continue skill building and finish in top three every race .
We try to get out every weekend. There is a new practice track now close to our house - this will really help because now I can practice as much as I want.

What inspires you to compete?

The thing that really inspires me is that adrenilane rush you get when the board goes sideways and then when the gate drops you goe through 5 gears in ten seconds and riding on the ragged edge for 20 minutes in the hot michigan sun fighting for every inch of track with a competitor it makes for a feeling like no other.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

We have a gym at home plus an arena style track out back. About 10 miles away is an outdoor style practice track with lots of big jumps. So I ride every day but Monday. (Monday is for bike maintenence. ) Even if we take a weekend off from racing I still ride.

Why do you compete?

Becuse it is awsome fun. And I like to Win.

Competitive Highlights

IN 2007 I moved on to a 125 SX and now race the 125 12-15 Class and the two stroke class and have finished in the top five in every race so far except one.

8th place in the 2004 Mini Mo-Down. Great track and fun race.
Took 3rd in my first super mini using a stock bike. Lots of passing made this one exciting.
