More Info About Me
How did you get started?
I first got started riding back in 2003, when my dad finally gave in to my begging and pleading and finally brought me to buy a dirtbike. I started racing in 2005 after just riding for fun for two years, and I got off to a good start and here I am today.
List your competitive highlights
In 2005, my only competitive highlight was my first formal "race". I finished third in the Maine MX Series 125 Youth C class.
In 2006, I had a struggle with my results at first, but eventually worked my way out of it, and had many top 3 finishes, and several overall wins. I finished 8th place in the Maine MX Series Fall Series Championship due to missing most of the races in the series. In 2006 I skipped around to different series' and tracks. 2007 I plan on racing the Maine Motocross Series,as to accumilate promotional points and to move up to the next level.
What are you planning for next season?
For 2007, I have purchased a Yamaha YZ 250f for the 125 class. I am planning on concentrating on consistant top 3 finishes, and I am also planning on moving out of the Novice class and moving up into the Amateur class, so that I can compete in a different class than I am used to. Another goal of mine is to participate in, and place top ten in the New England MX Regionals.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
I believe that my biggest accomplishment was when I won my first race in the summer of 2006. It really brought my confidence level up to where it should have been in the first place. Since then I have won several other races, but none have been as meaningful as that first one, nothing feels better than being ahead of the pack!
