Team Highside Racing is a snowmobile watercross racing team based in Central N.Y.  An affiliate of Highside Films, the premier watercross film production company, Team Highside Racing represents the new generation of snowmobile watercross racers who are going to take the sport to the next level.

After being on the scene for a few years starting in 2005, Highside Films recognized the potential for the sport to grow and decided to organize a team in 2007 comprised of a few standout racers.  Joining the team was Luke Janiszewski #556 and Tim Doi #56. 

Tim rose to the top of his class quickly earning many wins in the Semi-Pro Oval class including a full weekend, 3 class, 6 race sweep in 2006 at the Eastern Championships in Fremont, NH.  Also that year, Tim earned the honor of Most Improved Ovals Rider at the annual New York State Watercross Racing Association awards banquet.  After a few season overall championships in the Semi-Pro Ovals in 2007, Tim was moved up to Pro for 2008 where his presence has already been felt, beating a lot of the top guys to make finals.

In 2006, Luke Janiszewski #556 was Team Highside's rookie rider and he promptly made an impact earning the NYSWRA Rookie of the Year award...and he hasn't stopped there.  In 2007, Luke joined teammate Tim Doi in the Semi-Pro Oval class the it wasn't uncommon for them to swap final wins on a race weekend.  WIth all of Luke's success so far, he also earned Pro status for 2008 and his impression has been made mixing up the order at the highest level.

In 2008, Matt Schebaum #23 joined Team Highside Racing to pick up where Tim and Luke left off in the Semi-Pro Oval class.  Coming out fresh with lots of talent and potential, Matt won his first Semi-Pro race and made all the finals in his first weekend of Oval racing.  He was so dialed in as the season went on that he even beat Pro teammate Tim Doi in a heat race on the EWA circuit in Norwood, NY.  The evidence is clear: the third addition to Team Highside promises to make sure the Semi-Pro Championships are not leaving Team Highside headquarters anytime soon...

For 2009, look for Team Highside Racing at the first race June 13-14 at Flat Rock Inn in Lowville, NY.... and June 27-28 at the EWA (Eastern Watercross Association) season opener at Darien Lake Theme Park in Darien, NY.
