Here I Am!!!
Hello everyone!!!! So I have been a bit MIA at the start of the summer, either way my apologies, especially to my sponsors, my deepest regrets. I just finished up May term for school which was crazy work for the last five days of the term. Right after all the papers and exams I had to motor off to Pats Peak in New Hampshire for a Downhill race in hopes to qualify for nationals. We will get to that later, it is more than just one sentence there. Soon as I got back from the race I had to start in on work for the summer. I love where I work, Portland Country Club where I work on the grounds crew of the course. I love it, outside, exercise, great people to work with and well im outside! I love to work so I end up working 11 to 12 hour days plus the money is a bonus. From there I have my training schedule which is 2 hours in a gym and 1 + hours on the bike, that is a long day and sometimes a run through the woods with the dog, she needs her exercise too, plus the work her nose. I do not mind a busy day one bit but at the end of it all, I am a bit tired, and hopefully Sophia, my dog, is tired too. So my summer is very busy but there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, and with both mountain and road races on weekends sleep may become shorter than normal so……. please bear with my is I go MIA for a while.
I love my summer when they are busy, as much as they are for relaxing, working and biking is nothing more that pure love and a big smile on my face. So that is where I have been, working my tail off and riding my butt off! Cannot get any better than that, and one thing that has pulled me threw it all is the drive from my sponsors, not that say to win big, but for me to push myself to do the best I can, and that I know they have my back through it all. From the emails to the products everything they do helps me so much. From products such as Bombshell with their rims that are super strong to the RB Components that help my garage and me become a bit more organized with some sick style. Another is fluid that has pulled me through some lows; their product that they have created is a great piece of my success. From all the hours I work, to the road and mountain biking, it helps my recovery come much quicker. I spend a lot of time in the gym with the weights, and even then, fluid does what it is claimed to do!
I do not want to just single anyone one company out, honestly, to all of you, NYC Freeride, Royal, Monster (tasty), Utopia Optics, and the stunning Division 26 clothing, to all of you, two things: one, thank you for the support, with all of you and the you guys up top as well, thank you for everything! Two, my apologies for being so ascent, I have been so busy and making sure, school and training are my two biggest focuses right now.
To all of you thank you and to everyone else, I hope you are all out there riding hard and living and loving life especially with your bikes! Have fun since we only are here once, and try out some of these companies, you’ll love the stuff! So ride to have fun and make sure while having fun, kick some butt! But for now, go Celtics and I am going to bed!
