A few questions.

Why do you like this sport?

Like most people, I like to go fast. But when you incorporate trees, roots, rocks, and jumps, that's what really makes this sport so intense. You really have to learn complete control over your bicycle solely in order to survive the obstacles that are roaring past you. Really it's the rush and survival factor for me.

Why do you compete?

That'll probably have to be the fun trips up to the races(assuming) and really the competition factor. I used to think I wasn't competitive but I realize that I very opposite of that. Racing against the clock too is mentally harder because you can't see any of the riders. Which really pushes you to the edge of your ability. Competing does this to you and that's really what I'd like to see myself do. Push myself to my limits.

Music?

I played the piano for 12+ years, saxophone for 6+ years and guitar for just over a year. I absolutely love playing the guitar! If I'm bored or have nothing to do, I just whip out the ol' 12 string and start mellowing myself out and it really works! Usually in long periods and it really kills time in a good way.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Probably back in Australia at my old school when some friends randomly dacked me (rip others pants down when they least expect it) so I tried to play it cool and sorta leave my pants around my ankles for a little longer than expected. Instead of just putting them back on as quick as possible haha.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I'm Australian. I love any sport that has the potential to kill me. I like vanilla ice cream. The WRX STi is the best car out there. Travis Pastrana, Cam McCaul, Sam Hill, Cedric Gracia, and Brian Bartlett! are all inspirations. I live in Seattle WA now. Been here for 2 years. If I didn't move here, I probably wouldn't have got myself into riding bikes. THE END. =D
