Clint was highlighted in an article in the Northwest Herald, www.nwherald.com in the sports section on April 24,2006 for receiving medals at the 2006 USASA National Snowboarding Championships in Tahoe, Ca. He received a 2nd place medal for Boardercross, a 3rd place for Slalom, 3rd place for Alpine combined, a 3rd place for Alpine & Freestyle combined and a 3rd place overall for Alpine-Freestyle-Boardercross combined.
