Back to AMA Nationals at Loretta Lynn at 50 plus
MX Sports announced new classes for 2009 for the AMA Nationals at Loretta Lynn's and it includes a 50 plus Masters class!
I have been privileged to make two Loretta Lynn Nationals races and I thought that was it for me. But no! I have another shot and will take it but qualifying for the 2009 50 plus Masters class. I cannot wait to go back again with my 50 plus buddies and race again at a National. I am one lucky kid! I plan to race on my Champion Cycle of Covington, Solva suspension, Twin Air Filter, Pro-Circuit exhaust, KTM 250 SX set up for full power, if I can learn to master all that horsepower. I have raced it detuned in the past but I want that holeshot at LL and that motor can do it. With my mentor and teacher Trampas Chad Parker, hopefully I will find a way to do so and do well at LL. At 56 yrs. old, any race may be your last, so I will really relish this one. With the full support of my fantastic wife Erika and little Elena there, I can't lose. Another adventure unfolds!!!!
