Why do you compete?
It keeps me in shape and mentally alert. The challenge is exciting. I find comfort in the chaos of a race. It is not unlike a jury trial. You have to have heart, keep your head and go for the finish line too--and never give up. Never.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
My daughter Megan says I will never grow up--even at 54!!
