Overview

How I got started

I started riding mountain bikes in `96. The first downhill race I competed in was on a fully rigid bike. I did really well (considering the number of crashes) finishing in the top 3. Then I was hooked.

Goals for the Future

My goals for 2008 include qualifying for an upgrade to Pro in Downhill, Super-D and 4x/Duel.   For next season, I plan to increase the number of races attended by following the Mountain States cup as well as some nationals in the west and other races around the southwest/rocky mountain regions.

In addition to racing gravity events, I am planning to race the Durango MTB100 in 2008 and racing some of the XC events in the region.

I will also be racing mini motocross, enduro and hair scrambles in the off-season.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I have been involved in competitive sports since an early age. First playing league and school soccer, then track & field and cross country running. I also raced BMX for a number of years. After my first knee surgery, I started riding bikes for rehab. Now I`m addicted to racing anything on two wheels, and I plan to continue doing so for many years to come.

In early 2006 I bought my first home, and its in Durango, CO (no better place for riding).  I plan to move from New York to Colorado by early 2007 to enjoy even MORE riding!

Employment / Experience Summary

I currently work full time for MedcoHealth, Inc. as a senior manager supporting software development for prescription drug benefit programs. I have been with the company since `92 and have held a number of different positions in operational, marketing and customer service roles.
