One Fork to Rule them all...

Imagine yourself riding down one of the gnarliest hills known to man...Imagine that this hill had drops, dips , and puddles of lava rock aching to taste your flesh...Imagine riding this hill at speeds of up to 30 mph with little to no bounce, vibrations, or jolts thrashing your hands. Got that image? You've just imagined having the Magura Durin Race 100mm fork.

I can tell you that this fork has performed above and beyond my expectations and then some.  I ride a Specialized Hardrock Comp (Hardtail) and I felt nothing but the want to go faster down a hill few dare to do unless they had a full suspension bike.  Before this fork, my back was hurting from all the muscle I had to put into it. But  an air Suspension fork with 100 mm of travel is more than you need to get any job done whether your dropping 2-5 ft ledges down a tricky single track or blazing through a rock garden that would make stonehenge look like cake.  If you had any sanity you would research this product (Magura.com) or go directly to your nearest bike shop (sagecycles.com) and purchase this item! I Give it 5 out of 5 stars!

Q&A - Personal

Why do you like this sport?

I like the constant change and personality that Xterra brings to the table. You never know whats going to happen next.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I train somewhere between ten and fifteen hours a week. Usually its in the morning if I can help it, however some days it ends up being in the evening. I have no complaints. It gets done either way.

Music?

I pretty much like it all.

What inspires you to compete?

I think that coming from a military backround, I've gained a never quit mentality. This can be both good and bad, but in this case it helps to finish what I started no matter what. In competitions I am able to use this quality and show how well I can perform.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Well, if we are talking about competing, it would have to be coming across the finish line at my first triahlon without a chip on my ankle and hearing the official tell me "thats too bad...you would have finished 4th." If its all together...I dont think I'm ready to spill those beans.
