450X Baby!!!!
It's been a bit since I wrote, sorry about that, but it does get busy. Well, I have a new addition to the family, a brand new 2007 450X!!! Thanks V!!!!! What a beautiful bike! I took her out for the usual break in period, got a feel for her, and yes I did a wheelie, not on purpose, but one none the less, I think I need to practice them anyway. On her maiden voyage we rode to Kramer Junction and back, got a bit lost, but didn't run out of gas. The total trip was about 95 miles. I've wanted a 450 for awhile; I want to do some long races, like maybe the Baja 500?? or 1000????? I love my little 250, she will be for the hare and hound and scrambles, and I'll bring out the big girl for the long 125 + mile stuff. I'll post a pic soon. I think that I'll be doing the firestone DH race on April 27-29th. It’s always a great venue and course. I think it’s a good place to start the DH season! Kona needs some love!!
