My name is Drake Fertig.  I am eight years old.  I started racing when i was five on a Yamaha PW 50.  Now i am riding a King Cobra 50 and a KTM 65.  I am enjoy running the GNCC series with my dad.  I am also running local motocross races in the 50 Senior and 65 Junior classes. I was picked to race in the KTM Supercross Challenge last January in Anaheim Californina.  I got to meet Travis Pastra and a lot of other pro riders.  Besides racing i play baseball and football and enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I had to take this past summer off because my dad is leaving for Iraq.  I wanted to spend as much time with him as I could before he had to leave. I am starting to train again to get ready for the Toyota Arenacross series.  I am hoping to qualify to race in Las Vegas next year.  I also plan on running at Earlyine Indoor Racing on my off weekends.  After i finish up my winter series I plan on running the entire 2009 GNCC Series starting in Florida next March. I hope to finish on top in my class there.
