Hi, I'm Evan Copeland

Welcome!!! My 2009 season has been really frustrating so far but I'm hoping for a much improved fall.

After going to North Carolina to ride in February, I was really looking forward to the upcoming year. I knew my schedule would be paired back a bit because I had several other commitments like a 10 day river canoeing trip in Maine, a week at Boy Scout camp, a week at Boy Scout National Youth Leadership trainging, and a week at high school band camp.  What I wasn't counting on was fracturing my shoulder blade at practice at Crow Hill MX the day before I was scheduled to go to my first day of racing. It was a real bummer to be out for 8 weeks! But as I write this now, it is the day after my first race day of the year. Even though it had been almost 10 months since I last raced, I was really pleased with my performance and think the fall will be really special.

I want to send a GREAT BIG THANK YOU out to all of my sponsors. They have been VERY, VERY helpful to me and I will continue to do what I can to promote them. I know I wouldn't have been able to do all of the things I did last year without their help. Check them out!
