How I got started
I began riding three years ago and quickly knew I was born to race! I began my racing career on a Yamaha PW80. I had a decent beginning year at a local track. I finished up the season winning in experience not in points. Looking back now, I can say that was worth a lot more. It has helped to make me the aggressive rider that I am today. I spent the second year of racing in Australia. I gained a new riding style and quickly used my new wisdom to have more than a few Aussies sit up and take notice of this American racer. I did well enough racing at Nunawading MX Club, taking home 3 first places in the 85cc jr division, and 2 second place winnings. I also raced the Super Mini class always placing in the finishes. Before my return I rode with Team Full Throttle. Now in my third year of racing I can say the experiences that I have under my helmet have helped me find the fire and desire to become one of the next racers that people will be asking....`WHO IS THAT KID?" In early 04` I began riding 125cc. In 4 out of the first 5 races I had impressive finishes ending up number one.
Goals for the Future
Next seasons goals are obviously to qualify for Loretta Lynn`s and to race other amateur national events. I also plan on winning all my local championships, and to stay as consistent as I can and gain more experience to help propel me to my next level of competition.
