Perfect weather conditions welcomed the riders to one of the oldest running enduros in the country at the Athens Motorcycle Clubs Milk Run Enduro on 9/21/08. Josh Gaitten will add his name to the milk jug along side of many legends in the sport. Vet A rider Mark McGrath kept Gaitten honest as they were tied after the 10th check. Gaitten started to get an advantage at check 11 as McGrath dropped 1 to Gaitten’s perfect 0. McGrath hung on for a very fine 2nd overall, 1st in class. Gene O’nail again was in the running dropping 22 for 3rd overall. AA front runner Rodney Judson's title hopes took a hit as he DNF’ed the day. He will need a win and some help at the next round. John Grimm continued his winning ways in the open A class with another great ride also 4th overall. Nothing got settled points wise in the 250 A class as all the front runners had good days. Class leader Brian Sovak took the win over Brian Hollingshead and Cary Eberts. The title will be decided at Treaty City. Chuck Foust got his first win of the season in the 200A class, while points leader Trevor Cline had problems and had a DNF to tighten up that class. Yamaha mounted local hot shoe hare scrambler Dylan Ice was the overall B rider dropping a very impressive 26. He will not be a B rider very long as he kept pace with many fast A riders. Todd Gearing started the season slow but he has been on a roll lately winning the Vet B class over Dan Johnson. Matt Hatten took advantage of Ethan Bierup’s absence to win and take over the points lead in the 250B class standings. Hatten won the class over James Rinaldi and Joe Uhrig. The 250B class is another class that will be decided at the last round at Treaty City. Check the ACES website for complete results and info about round 8 at Treaty City. www.aces-races.co

Factory husaberg rep. Robbie Jenks took the newly designed 2009 FE450 to the overall win at the 51st Little Burr Enduro Rd.#6 of the ACES enduro series.Perfect weather conditions welcomed over 110 riders to the Enduro Rides association promoted event.Jenks Husaberg preformed as well as it looked in only dropping 4 on the day.Trevor Cline gets faster every week and was 2nd overall, first in 200A with a score of 5.Rodney Judson came home 2nd in the AA class, also closing the series points up, as series leader Josh Gaitten was 3rd in class, 4th overall. With only 2 rounds left in the series, the class standings are starting to get interesting. It was only a matter of time before Bryan Hollingshead got a win in the 250A class but it was not easy as he had to go to the emergency checks to beat out Mike Jolly for the class win.The 250A class will be a shoot out at the next couple rounds as 5 riders are within a few points of each other.Kevin Brown topped the SR A class over Norm Into.Brad Smith, who was a close 2nd in the class points had an off day to finish 5th, giving Brown some breathing room.Todd Gearing was the top B rider on the day with a score of 17.Chris Coffman extended his SR B class lead with another win at the Little Burr, Dan Kneckt and Chris Dorsey followed. The 250B class points was thrown for a loop as a couple front runners had trouble, Class leader Ethan Bierup could only manage a 6th on the day.Another front runner James Rinaldi DNFed,That opened the door for Matt Hatten and Joe Uhrig to make up some valuable points. Hatten and Urhig was followed by Nathen Bidwell and Tim Antle.Complete results @ www.aces-races.com    By Kevin Claytor
