Indian Bluff OMA National - Race Report

The Indian Bluff OMA was in a word, great! Everyone I spoke with loved including me. It was fun, fast, and single track. One of the more fun races this season and hats off to the promoters, sponsors, landowners, and riders. All and all it was a great day... except for my race.

In short, I started slowly trying to be safe only to find out I had lost my back brakes about two miles into the event. Sorely disappointed I rode on trying to do the best I could, as safely as possible. By the 2:30 minute mark I had decided I should end my season safely and dropped out. The trail was opening up and getting faster. I found myself pushing corners and getting closer to blowing through one without the back brakes so I decided not to push it too far. I ended up eight and am proud of that as it was a real struggle, but fun!

I will definitely pursue the OMA's next year along with a KORHS title.

Thank you again to all my sponsors!!!!!
