I just wrapped up the 65cc 7-9 Series championship for the Star Bright Night Series at Cypress Creek MX.  It was a hard fought batle, and I barely edged out my buddy Tyler Murphy by 13 points.  We battled hard the entire series. and I had a blast.  October 28th will be my first of several races in Texas.  We will be at Oak Hill MX for the 6th round of the Pro Circuit Series.  After that I will Race the 1st Annual Southern Shootout at Cypress Creek MX in Louisiana, and then in December I start the FMF/Honda of Houston Texas Winter Series at Freestone County Raceway.

This past weekend, I raced the final round of the Summer Showdown Series at Tuff Enuff MX in Oak Grove, Louisiana. I won both the 65 7-9 and 65 7-11 Open classes and finished third in the pit bike class. I wrapped up championships in all three classes. I would like to thank all of the sponsors who made these championships possible, M2R Helmets, Scott Goggles, Motorex Oils, Pro Works Racing, Sidi/Motonation, Cypress Creek MX, Creative Graffix, and RK Racing Chains. On August 19th I will begin the inaugural Star Bright night series at Cypress Creek MX in Plain Dealing, Louisiana.

After this weekends races at Motor Sports City in Start, LA I have extended my points lead in both the 65 7-9 and the 65 7-11 Open classes. I took first place overall in both classes, with 3 out of 4 moto wins. I also have the points lead in the pit bike class. The next stop in the series is my home track, Cypress Creek MX in Plain Dealing, LA. I am looking forward to a great weekend of racing, and some good results.

This past weekend while racing the first round of the Summer Showdown Series, I earned my first win since moving up to the 65 class. The week before, my buddy Colby Murphy was seriously injured in a practice accident. I asked his dad if I could ride his bike for this race. This win is dedicated to Colby, get well soon!!
