Just thinken about Ponca this year and thought I should write a blog about it. Man I had fun it was awesome!!!! Even though I had so much fun it was really tough too, there are so many great riders there and the competition is really tough. I had suspension problems most of the week until Robert Reynard got there on Thursday and lined out my rear shock. I think the damage was already done though I made the 65cc 6-8 Stock Main just barely so I started Saturday with a 15th. I was determined to come out on Saturday and ride like I've never ridden before.  At the start I got a great start and took my little Kawi to 9th at the first turn.  At the end of the first lap I had settled into 12th but wasn't quite satisfied with that.... I saw my chance to pass into 10th and took the inside line and wouldn't you know it I crashed.  By the time I got up I finished something like 20th for a 25th overall.  Dad said that I did great and that if I crash out going for it then that’s just racing. I'd like to have done better but Dad said making the main at Ponca was a great accomplishment in itself. Now I'm going start working harder and train with Robbie Reynard and get ready for all the Nationals in '08. See you there!!!
