We drove to the sunny side of the province this weekend due to some unforeseen snow in Saskatoon. Although it was windy and the temperature was a balmy 16 degrees Celsius at the track, we still managed a solid day of testing. Regina was literally our first shake down for the kart, and myself. The day was fairly uneventful, except for the late afternoon rainstorm!! All in all it was a good start for the 2008 race season.

Logan Downing and Team Attack join forces for 2008
Logan Downing is joining forces with Team Attack for the 2008 race season. After a successful rookie Rotax Junior season last year, Logan will be back in 2008 competing in the Western Canadian Rotax Championship along with the Western Canadian Rok Cup. “I am looking forward to the new season of racing with Team Attack”.” I am excited to be racing will all of the best Junior drivers in Western Canada from these series and will hopefully make my mark on both classes this yr”.
Team Attack is headed up by Keith Miller a veteran racer from Regina, Sask and owner of K&M Motor sports “I look forward to having Logan on our team this yr.” “Logan brings with him a natural ability to get around a track in a hurry, and is eager to get behind the wheel of the Rok and Rotax powered CRG karts this season”.
Testing will begin in Regina and Saskatoon later this month. Both Series have a 3 wkend 6 race format with the first races in Chilliwack BC later in May. Followed by Regina and Saskatoon in June and Calgary and Edmonton in July.
