My name is Douglas, I am 13 years old, and I live in Toronto, Canada where i get absolutely no surf. hahah its pretty disappointing... no, it's VERY disappointing. I began surfing 2 years ago where I learned on a family vacation to Waikiki, Oahu. I took a lesson on shabby waves using a softop board and on my first ride, I was hooked. I came back the next year hunting more surf and I bought a 5' 5" shortboard, wanting to learn to shortboard. I quickly adapted and began to surf with this shortboard. I have also traveled to Cabo, where i also surfed everyday. Now, I just beg my parents to take me places where I can experience new waves and just freesurf because it is the best sport! I am looking to buy a new board because the airlines smashed the tail of my board pretty bad.
