What inspires you to compete?
It is exciting and fun, and I focus on the competitive aspect of the sport. I love being on the line waiting for the gate to drop.
Why do you like this sport?
I just love to ride. The thrill of jumps and corner speed make this sport exciting. I also enjoy competing in Hare Scamble events. I feel that woods riding helps me with my throttle/braking coordination which allows me to carry my speed longer before I need to brake. I just love to ride and hang out at the races. I have made a lot of very good friends over the years and we all have one thing in common, have fun and race hard.
Some Personal Information About Me:
I am 15 years old, and started racing hare scrambles when I was six. A couple years later I started Motocross and have been racing since.
I like to skateboard, ride my DRZ110 on my private pit bike track, play the drums, Sony Playstation, XBOX, fishing, going to Wednesday night bible study, and hanging out with my friends at the track(s).
I have appeard in multiple National Magazine advertisements promoting the Polini Motorcycles, such as RacerX, as well as their web-site, promotional videos, and flyers.
I was selected and competed in the KTM Junior Supercross Challenge at the age of 8, in Tampa Florida. We signed autographs for spectators right next to the pros.
I am currently appearing in the Brandon Cunningham "Speed" edition instructional training video, that is distributed all over the world.
Describe your style...
People that watch me ride and race say I am very smooth. My riding style they say is a lot like Jeremy McGrath`s.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I try to train and ride every chance I get. I am not home schooled so my training (riding) is limited to weekends. I do particapte in after school track events/practice which is my training during the week. I live on 2 1/2 acres and have a private pit bike track in which I have table tops and double jumps in which ride on a lot. What I work on the most is my corners on my track. I have modified DRZ110 set up for pit bike racing.
