Overview

How I got started

I started riding motorcycles when I was five years old. My uncle owned a KTM shop and my entire family had an off-road racing background. I rode recreationally for years and I had my first race when I was ten. I raced some motocross and some off-road events until I was about fourteen when I gave off-road racing my full attention. At that time I realized my best enjoyment and talents were in off-road racing. Since I have began racing off-road I have been consistently improving and I am loving the challenge of off-road racing more and more.

Goals for the Future

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am a clean cut, humble, up and coming racer who is dedicated to the progression of my racing talents and marketability. I do not crave the attention from racing. I truly love to ride and race motorcycles. Long nights working on bikes and hard practice days in the rain and mud are not a chore for me. I am a tough kid and a tough racer. I take pride in that. I understand that racing is a privilege that should not be taken for granted. I appreciate greatly those who have helped me be the best racer I can be. I won't allow myself to give anything other than my best. I know that I would deeply regret not taking advantage of any opportunity that comes my way. My ultimate goal is to become an AMA professional off-road racer. It will be difficult and I know that I have to put in my time in the lower ranks first. I am happy to do that purely because I love racing. To get to my ultimate goal I must start with getting better at the little things I can control today. It will be a long and difficult journey but it is a journey I am excited and ready to take. I also understand that positively representing myself and my sponsors involves much more than race results. It is very important that I carry myself in such a way that all people will enjoy my presence. I am very easy to get along with and I like to connect with people on an individual level. I I can handle and even enjoy the limelight if it is necessary in the pursuit of creating positive recognition for those who sponsor me but I actually prefer to create relationships one on one.  I think people respect my friendly, hard working, down to earth attitude. I know another important factor in the marketing of myself and my sponsors is creating name recognition in a positive professional way. All of my family is and has been in the business world and I have been exposed to it all of my life. Because of this I have an understanding of how to market myself. I need to present my equipment and race team as top notch, always. My bike, vehicles, equipment, apparel and myself must look stunning and be visible at all times. I need to attend as many events in this manner as I can. I have always presented myself in this way and will continue to do so. It is important that I create a positive association with my sponsors equipment by creating a connection between my professionalism and what equipment I use. I have held KTM promotional seminars with the help of KTM Country and my family for the opportunity to promote my sponsors through professional presentation.  My sponsors do a lot for me. They help me do what I love and I appreciate that very much. I owe it to them to do all that I can to represent them in the best way I can.I know what it takes to be a great asset to my sponsors and I have the dedication and drive to reach my full potential as a racer and as a representative of my sponsors. I know my sponsors will not regret helping me pursue my dream.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

My training program consists of basic proper nutrition combined with an intense well planned physical training and practice program. I am fortunate enough to live in an area where I have all of the resources I need to prepare myself physically and mentally to be the best I can. I have a great weight training facility to my expenditure. I lift weights 5 days a week an hour and a half a day. I endurance lift solely for my lower body and do an endurance, strength training combination for my upper body. In the morning I run for a half an hour or ride my mountain bike intensely for an hour. At least three days a week I ride my motorcycle. All within less than 45 minutes from my house I have several woods trails systems, a motocross track and a desert riding system all open year round for my use.  During non race weeks I ride my motorcycle both days of the weekend and as many days as I possibly can. My riding location choice is dependent upon what race I am going to next. . If I have an extended break from racing I change up riding locations frequently much like going to a different race each week. Because of where I live I am an experienced desert, motocross, tight woods, open woods and mud racer.
