I got into BMX dirt jumping and street when I was five years old. I went out almost everyday building and jumping my bike with my friends. I rode with kids that were about three years older than me, just because they built good jumps that were big enough to have alot of fun on. I stayed with BMX all the way until the age of thirteen when I was introduced to mountain biking. I saw the massive air, speeds and risks that mountain biking had and I fell completely in love with the sport right then, and I have been doing it everyday since.
The first year of mountain biking for me was when I was foruteen, I was just doing freeride, mainly just building jumps all the time and finding the biggest thing I could jump my bike off of. I started doing alot of urban freeriding, north shore, and alot of dirt jumping a couple of months after I got into the sport. I then started going to the downhill tracks and started getting a feel for how the courses were, practicing technical downhill, single track and moderate downhill courses. I loved downhill and the speeds and adrenaline rush I was able to get from it. As of August 2007, I started competing in downhill racing and love the sport so much. I ride many types of mountain biking now including: downhill, freeride, extreme freeride, dirt jumping, urban, super D and cross country.
