Overview

How I got started

Started riding four wheelers at 8 years old. A couple of my friends had dirt bikes. I asked them if I could try riding them and I thought it was fun. I sold my four wheeler and bought a Yamaha YZ 80. Two years later, I bought a KTM 85 SX. Joined AMA and MDRA and starting racing Spring of 2005.

Goals for the Future

Continue to ride in the 85 C class, supermini, and if I`m ready, try racing in the 125 C class. I also plan to take more riding lessons.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

It is my dream. Something I`ve wanted to do since I was little. I hope someday to be a really good rider like the pros.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Getting crashed in to three times by the same rider.

Describe your style...

I`ve  been racing for two years and have lots to learn. I`m getting into jumping now and getting pretty close to the holeshot, but need to work on that, by going outside and around quicker so not to lose position. I also need to work on whoops.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I try to ride as much as I can. I recently attended Steve Stella MX school. I do plan to take more lessons. Right now, I am out of school and just hanging out, enjoying the summer, and racing.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I hope to go to college to become a bike mechanic and own my own shop someday.

Competitive Highlights

Racing for the very first time. I was very nervous, but very excited. Also, I entered a local county fair racing dirtbikes. It rained really bad that day and the track was a watery, muddy mix. No one could keep their bikes up except me. I never dumped my bike and won a first place trophy almost as big as me.
