How I got started

My oldest son wanted to start raceing when he was nine. After racing for about one year, he asked me to race with him. I was a little reluctant to start a sport like this in my early thirties but after the first race I was hooked.

Goals for the Future

Race district 29 as much as possible along with my three boys.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

The thrill, competitiveness, and the friends that are made.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

My son broke his arm and I ran across the track yelling to my friends,"Get my money back. I didn`t even race."

Why do you like this sport?

What makes this sport so awesome is the fact that on the track we can all be so competitive and want that first place position, then as soon as you park your bike the racers are all friends. I have helped my friends fix their bikes just so that they can compete against me in the next moto. There are not many sports where you see this kind of friendship.

Music?

I enjoy classic rock but will listen to most anything. I am not particularly interested in listening to rap music.

Why do you compete?

I compete for the thrill of the experience. I enjoy trying to beat all of my friends and watching them try to beat me. I also like being able to be out there with my three boys and watching them try to wih a trophey.

Competitive Highlights

Two overall wins in the same weekend, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
