OBJECTIVE:
I am searching for sponsorship to help me throughout the 2007 dirt track, supermoto, and mini road race season.
MY PATH:
I am pursuing my desire to be a Moto GP road racer some day. To be successful, I will need to become involved in a series of race circuits…BMX, Supermoto, Mini Road Racing, and types of Flat Track racing that include TT and Short Track. With each circuit, I can develop the required skills needed and transition them over as I continue with my path to be successful in this two-wheel arena.
EXPERIENCE:
BMX
I have accomplished the first circuit of BMX racing. I learned what was needed and I was able to become a team member on Factory Redman Yamaha Waverunner for a little over 3 years and then with Factory Phantom-Ontrac for my last year in the sport. I have won the following titles… 3-time National Age Group Champion (NAG), 3-time State Champion, 4-time Race of Champion (ROC), 4-time World Champion, 2-time Gold Cup Champion, plus I placed 5th in the UCI World Cup Championship being the only 6-year old with a group of seven 7-year olds.
Dirt Track
I often go trail riding at the local parks of Hollister Hills and Medcaf as a way to keep conditioned. This year Medcaf had a hair-scramble and for fun I entered it, where I came in first in the “beginning / intermediate 4-stroke class”. For the 2006 season, I rode two bikes, my CR85 and my KTM65 in which I won many races & some championships…
n TT Racing: In 2006, I won 1st place in the AMA National, 1st place in 7 local races at various tracks (Lodi Cycle Bowl and Salinas fairgrounds ), and placed 3rd at the CMA Bounty Hunter. In 2005, I won 1st place at the CMA 65 Championship as a B-rider and placed 1st at the Rodeo Round-up in Chowchilla as a B-Rider in both the 65 and 85 class. In 2004, I won two points championships in the CMA Dominator Series.
n ST Racing: In 2006, I won 1st place in the opening round in Chowchilla District 35 Winter Series and plan on finishing it up this year riding my CR85. In 2004, I received first in points in the 65 class and the XR100 class being a C-Rider at the AMA District 35 Winter Series in Chowchilla.
Supermoto / Mini Road Racing
I am continuing to improve my riding skills on how to think strategically to go fast, keep my line, effectively pass or to keep from being passed, and to predict other rider’s moves. There is a lot to take in and account for since racing is not only a physical challange but a mental one as well. For the 2006 season, I rode a CR85 and a KTM65 where I was able to win a few races that have placed me on the podium…
n Supermoto: In 2006, I won 1st place at the Nor-Cal Supermoto in Lake Tahoe, I placed 5th at the STARRS NASMOTO Qualifier in Grange Apple Valley starting from 16th which qualified me for the Queen Mary AMA Nationals; I was unable to attend the main race at the Queen Mary AMA National but did qualify for a 3rd place position on the grid before experiencing mechanical issues. In 2005, I won 1st place for miscellaneous races.
n Mini Road Racing: In 2006, I entered the 2-hour endurance race at the Stockton Motorplex where I was in the lead by 5 laps before experiencing engine failure but won 1st place in three classes during that weekend: the premier 80, 250 supermoto, and open supermoto. In 2005, I won 1st place for miscellaneous races.
2007 PLAN:
My bikes for the 2007 season are a recently purchased Honda RS125 along with my CR85. I am concentrating my time and effort in 2007 on racing a series in supermoto and motorcycle road racing to win a championship. In between the two series above, I will race TT and ST in order to keep my dirt tracking skills in good use. Off the track, I plan on keeping a healthy diet, a regular work out, and to work hard on keeping my grades up.
Thank you for taking the time to read my resume. I hope you enjoyed it and will take me into consideration as being my sponsor.
