Overview

How I got started

As a teen, my father got me into ATV's and dirt bikes as a way to keep me in school and have been riding all forms of motorcycles since.

Goals for the Future

For next season, I want to move up to "B" or maybe even "A" class. At the last Northwest Quad National race, I had the chance to race against a top level "A" rider of the WORCS series and hung with him the whole race. That has givem me the confidence to move up into the ranks for next year. I know I'll never be a Pro, but I would like to give it my best shot and see how I fair.

What inspires you to compete?

The butterflies before a race... the rush of trying to pass someone through the woods where it's tight... to jump higher and farther then you ever have in practice....or to stall it in the last corner of the last lap while in the lead and come away with second place.

Competitive Highlights

My first race was a WORCS race in 2003 at Washougal. I finished 6th in a 30+ class. The race was in a down pour and the track was really muddy. I`m almost positive I would have finished top 3, but on the last lap I got stuck in some mud.
My second race ever was a 4 hour team race with a buddy of mine who strictly races dirt bikes...I had convinced him to race with me on my atv at the Eddyville race track in Washington. We both completed 2 hours a piece and ended up taking the checkered flag...by the way, my buddy did great for his first time on an atv.
Third race was the WORCS in Cinebar, WA. on Aug 5, 2006. Came out third to the first turn and just picked them off in the woods. I`m pretty sure I past a few other classes in the race.... Ended up winning by 2 minutes.
