It was a couple of years back I met my husband to be and his brother raced. He had at KXF250R and we was at the sandpits wathching and everyone said jump on and give it a try. Well I did and I fell in love with it. I went the next week and rode again and my a month out I bought one. I started riding every weekend. Before I knew it I was racing.
Racing with the guys....getting hole shot and being in the top 5. Racing with the girls and battling for first place.
I plan on racing a couple of arenacross series this winter, C class. Then, start racing every outdoor race to try to qualify for Loretta's.
So far, my biggest highlight would have to be at arenacross last year. It was with the 125 bigger class. There was 24 of us. We had 2 heats. The top 6 went to the main, I fell short. I had to go to LCQ. 10 of us on the gate they took the top 2. The gate dropped and there I was, I had hole shot and second place to go to the main. 8 boys was very upset....in shock....couldnt believe it. Sitting on the gate for the main in front of a big crowd being the only girl with 13 boys was the best. I hope I can do it again!!
