Although i did not have the fund to race this year i did how ever show up to support freinds in the race and represent my sponsors. It was a little bit chilly once the sun went down but it was a awsome race.  David Knight dominated both night and day. winning the day race by 45 min and the night race by 1 hour. I had a great time and will be attending that race in the future.

That closes the door on another season for me racing the Kansas Missouri Forward Motion Harescrambles Championship. If you look at my numbers it looks like i finished up ok. To me i think i will write this year down in the win column. The way i look at it is i've gone from the C class champ in 2005, then moved myself up to the B class for 2006, and then half way through the season moved myself up to yet another class, the A class. To me that is a win, moving up three different classes in one year.  Finished out 5th in the Open A and 15th Overall.

Been thinking about it all week, about moving myself up to open A class. and i finally deceided that it is only going to make me a better rider which is why i race. not for the trophy even though its nice to come home with some gold, i`d rather help myself to becoming a better rider. Quenmo,ks was my first race in the open A class. got off to a great start was in 2nd place for one lap then i made a stupid choice and went down and that put me at the back of the pack. caught back up to 8th place then the race was red flaged so the life flight chopper could land to pick up a down rider with a serious head trauma. the race would never be restarted. better luck next time.

i had a great race at fort scott . got off the line in third place, then half way through the first lap the second an first place guy over shot a corner and i flew past them to take the lead for the remainder of the harescramble. end up in first place in the b open class and 10th overall. thank you to all my sponsors motorex, acerbis, engine ice, renthal, scott usa, letko cycle of kansas city,ks, twin air, six six one, decal works, dp brakes, asv, nstyle, excel, and carbon fiber works.
