Overview

How I got started

I really enjoyed riding my bike and motorcycle, but wanted to do something a little more exciting than just cruising around! Since I`ve always had a competitive streak in me, my parents mentioned BMXing and I thought that sounded pretty cool. So I gave it a try and I really liked it! Now I`ve been racing for a little over a year and totally love it! I can`t wait to see how far I can take it!

Goals for the Future

Well, I recently moved up to Intermediate. So, if I push really hard and race every chance I get, hopefully I`ll make it to Expert by next season!

Bio

Why do you compete?

I enjoy competing because it makes me push myself to be my best and I like to hear the crowd cheering me on! This might sound corny, but it`s like the story of "The Little Engine That Could." When I`m climbing up and over those hills, riding down the other side is just reminding me that I can do anything I put my mind to - as long as I give it my all and don`t give up. Not to mention, the trophies are pretty cool! I aso compete because it feels great to promote my sponsors!

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to be a Pro FMXer! I tell my parents that they`re just going to have to deal with me getting broken bones - cuz that`s what FMXers do! (Just kidding! I know safety is #1- but I just like to freak `em out!) Keep an eye out for me, cuz one day you`ll see me in the X Games!!!

Competitive Highlights

* I have trophied in 28 races! I think that`s pretty good for only racing a little over a year...

* Recently I checked out a new track. It was really cool because I took the transfer on my first qualifier. Then went on to take 1st place in the main event! I never rode this track before, and I competed against riders who always ride there. So, to take home the 1st place win was really awesome!!!

* I moved up from Novice to Intermediate in a very short period of time. But since I changed classes, I`ve been having to fight really hard to stay in the race. That`s alright though, because it`s all about perseverance. If I just keep training and racing, I`ll start racking up those 1st place wins and eventually move up to Expert!
