Why do you like this sport?
Snowboarding is my favorite sport because everyone I meet is so chill. There's nothing better than getting a bunch of friends together to go ride.
What inspires you to compete?
To get better. When I compete is always pushes me to try harder and try new tricks.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Well, I'm in school to be a nurse...but dream job PRO SNOWBOARDER for sure.
Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?
Love to travel. I just took a 2 month backpacking trip to Europe and India. Next trip....going to be a snowboard trip around the world(after I save a little dough)
Some Personal Information About Me:
I'm 23 Years old, have 4 horses, and a siberian husky. I'm currently riding a FLOW BFF with Essence Bindings. I love the outdoors, (hiking, mt. biking, running, camping, kayaking, and of course snowboading. Lived in Summit Co Colorado for 6 month in 2007 and can't wait to move back.
Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
My brother made me switch from skiing to snowboarding 11 years ago. Got into riding park after high school. Did a few competitions and realized how much fun they were and how many cool people you can meet.
List your competitive highlights:
My biggest highlight would be this year at the Rome Pre Jib rail jam. I got 3rd place out of 50+people including the guys!!!! Also getting 7th at USASA nationals!
What are you planning for next season?
For next season I want to go to a summer snowboard camp, and travel to every event I can. Some on the list are Trans Am, Rome Pre Jib, Louie Vito Rail Jam, Billabong Flaunt it, Volcom PB&J, Queens Cup, Roxy chickadee Jam, and the oakley uprising tour. I also still am competing in the USASA comps. I have a busy winter planned.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Well either 3rd place at the Rome Pre Jib, 6th at Volcom's PB&J or placing 7th at the USASA nationals
