RACE RESULTS...
Hello there Sponsors,
Well its be a pretty good past few weeks of MX racing for me. I wrapped up the overall win in the Nov. +30 Vet. at LACR's CRC Trophy Series bringing home the 5' tall trophy.
Now we are going into our 4th round of a 5 round LACR's Sponsorship Series. My first few rounds went pretty well. The first moto of the first round I placed 3rd after getting the holeshot and later falling down in a slow turn. But I turned it around in the second moto and placed 1st. The second round was almost identical but I placed 2nd in the first moto and 1st in the second, giving the overall for the day.
Last weekend was the best by far. Round #3 was held out a Edwards Air force Base. This a pretty sandy track and a lot of fellow racers were pretty worried about it. When the gate dropped I was gone.... holeshot. I never looked back. My father in-law was doing the pit boarding and every time I went by the time I had on second place just kept getting higher! I won the first moto and did exactly the same thing in the second moto to get the overall again.
I'm felling pretty good going into the 4th round at Glen Helen's Grand Prix this coming Sunday... If I win this I think I will have the series wrapped up before the last round!!! I can't get better than that.
I want to thank all of you guys out there that help us amateur racers to afford to race week in an week out. It's just not possible without the support.
Thank you again,
Jim Mackey
