Rd#2 Glen Helen, CA. District 37 GP )
Hello there Sponsors,
Well the 2nd round of races at the District 37 Big 6 GP at Glen Helen Raceway CA. went pretty good in one class and crazy in the other class...
The Vet 30+ I finished 4th out of 27.... and that was after the worst start ever.... dead engine and it took 3-4 kicks to get going... needless to say I had to pass guys by the hand full for the first 15 mins of the race..... I was ridding like Jason Lawrence.... I was trying to keep it as clean as I could... but I think I have taken out a couple of guys....... I was a little pissed off getting a dead last start..
The 4-Stroke HWT class was great... trading 4-5th position for about two laps... then I tried to go around the right of a big hole and a little kicker shot me across to the left side into a tree..... It's official... I became a tree hugger.... after what seemed to be an eternity... ( 2-3 min) I ended up 10th overall out of 21 riders.....
Well the next round is in 29 Palms April 4-5....... That is a fast race.... a lot of wide open trails/roads.... you definitely want to gear up for that race.....
