2006 Rd.#1 LACR`s Trophy Series
RACE RESULTS !!!

Well the summer heat is coming to end and the last night of the 2006 Motocross season is over. It was the first round of the LACR`s Trophy series in Palmdale, CA. With an entire summer full of Sat. night racing under my belt I was ready to get back to Series racing.
With a new backwards falling gate at LACR, the starts were going to be a little more fair to us honest guys.... My first moto in the Novice Vet. Class went off like a dream. I got a good jump off the gate with only one fellow racer a little if front of me... but when we got to the first turn he overshot the turn and left the door wide open for me to take the lead. I put the petal to the metal and separated myself from the pac. By the end of the first moto I ended with a 10 second lead from second place.
After the first moto finish I had a little more confidence knowing that I had the speed over all the other guys.... It was key to getting another hole shot. I wouldn`t have to wait too long to see that happen. When the gate dropped for our second moto I pined it in second gear and rode a power wheelie all the way to the first turn. I got what I need again.... THE HOLE SHOT!!! Just like the first moto I took off and never looked back. I won the second for the overall.
Well two more days like that and I will have the overall for the series. I want to thank all of you guys out there helping the grass roots racers.... With a family it can be hard to afford to race every weekend but with support like you guys give out to us.... It makes it happen.
