AMA District 37 GP Rd #1 Taft CA.

Well, I'm back in the saddle again... After a year from racing motocross due to an early season back injury in 2008... I was really happy again mixing it up on the track.
I thought I would get a bigger bang for the buck this year and stick with the GP's... 45 minute motos... So, the first round of the AMA District 37 Big 6 GP in Taft CA. went really well.
I'm racing in two different classes. Heavy Weight 4-Stoke Novice and and +30 Novice Vet. My results from the first round a couple of weeks ago was 9th out of 40 riders in the Hvy Wt. 4-Stoke class... and 6th out of 36 riders in the Vet class...
I'm really looking forward to this season racing with the District 37 riders... They are a great group of people... Everyone is out there to have fun... I'm also going to be racing the local GP's as well at the LACR motocross track in Palmdale CA.
I want to thank all of you for the help and energy that you all put into the amateur racers like myself to help us afford to continue our racing endeavors in these crazy economic times....
