What inspires you to compete?

The challenge, or taking the win after working hard and practicing to make it happen. I love the feeling of earning the victory its great.

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

Oh yeah i love it. I imagine if you didnt like to travel you couldnt make it in rodeo for very long. But Oh my best clean story would probably be the year i got to go to montana with a bunch of friends. I think we had 2 or 3 rigs and about 10 people and after it was all over my rig was called the short bus and still is but i guess you really had to be there to get the entire jist of it.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

I would say one of the most embarrassing things was i had a great rodeo and i just finshed a good run and it was reall muddy cause it had rained all night but anywy i get done and im walkin back to my horse and my foot got stuck in some mud and i went face first in this great big puddle right in front of the crowd. everybody busted up and some people still wont let me live it down

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I would like to fill my dream of going to the N.F.R and win the would in my three main events. Just to be a great cowboy to be known for that

How's Life Treating You?

My life right now is great, I am going to school and getting to live my dream and work toward a greater one. So yeah m,y life is treating me great and all i really love it.

How did you get started?

My dad introduced me to ropeing and stuff then i started going to alot of rodeos from then on and i love it

List your competitive highlights

I have won quite a bit in calf ropeing and team ropeing too. I would have to say one of my best was when i won the national calf ropeing title in Fallon, NV but that was my jr year in high school but i have won a bunch of saddles in all my events and now im tryin to take a college title as a freshman and so far its going great me and my friend are 2nd or 3rd in the team ropeing sothat is way freakin cool!

What are you planning for next season?

I want to win the college finals and if i can do that then i would really love to fill the dream of being a world champion in the prca but that still might be a long way of yet but im still lookin forward to it haha.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

i would have to say when i won the national title of even more recent i was the state president of the high school rodeo and i won the all-around title that was great cause i had to work all year for it and that was a great feeling

Well HI, IM BEN JOHNSON IM 19 AND I LOVE RODEO AND STUFF IM A FRESHMAN AT CENTRAL AZ COLLEGE AND WE ARE NUMBER 2 IN THE REGION SO THATS PRETTY COOL.
