Overview

How I got started

My dad, through a friend, bought some slightly used enduro bikes from Japan. We went out to the trails a lot and, despite our bruises, had a lot of fun. I loved the feeling of missing trees and rocks and we finally realized that we needed to upgrade and get onto a track. When we finally did we realized it was already time to start racing and we discovered we had what it takes.

Goals for the Future

Upgrading our bikes hopefully... I really feel we have covered a lot in the sport considering its been less than a year. I mostly plan to get better... I had a great first season and have been stoked for the next for so long. I am super excited that I am getting a KXF 250 and hopefully I will be able to increase my speed by over 20 mph on the track and I am planing on learning a few tricks as well as better scrub offs.

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

One of my passions is dirt biking. It is my soul purpose of life and I love it. I love the feeling of approaching a huge 100 footer jump and clearing it completely and adding in a whip right in the middle. I`m proud of my ability to ride. I am proud that I caught on and learned so much, in less than a year. Especially knowing my dad rode for three years and still didn`t achieve what I have. My motivation for my riding is the gift of responsibility over my bike and that it is what I make it. How I am able to make the bike me, make it what i want, and I take pride in it. If I could choose any career in the world it would be to race in the pro 125 class and ride all the time. It would essentially not be work, because I would get paid to do what I love, and have fun.

Some Personal Information About Me:

Well I am really an individual at school and everywhere else. I have my own way of doing things and my friends are the anti-pot skaters heh. I have very unique characteristics and i really stand out. I don`t seem shy a lot but I am unless I know at least one person where I am. Lately I have been considering home-schooling mainly for training. If i do it I will be able to ride 4 days a week and I will be free from the stress of long term projects and such. The only set-back is that I would be saying goodbye to a big giant part of my social life but so far my best friend has been really positive and supportive about it so it isn`t a no yet...

Describe your style...

I think i`m pretty diverse among people and i have a unique sense of humor... especially for my age... I`m kinda skater but i`m not completely anti-social. I think I am a people person knowing that I socialize when sometimes it isn`t the right time.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I have a semester long P.E. class for the remainder of the school year and we basically get into the weight room every thursday. Otherwise I go to the gym with my dad 2 days a week at 5 a.m. before school. When I get the chance to ride I know not to take it for granted because I know what it is like to not be able to ride or have bikes and it has made my time now more important.

Music?

Well music is basically all that keeps me going... sometimes i don`t even notice that i`m humming while riding. alternative, emo(sort of),techno,electronica...more.... I love my music and I feel it helps me with my artistic talents... whatever they may be heh. I have a music list mainly outside of radio and popularity but sometimes my favorite bands will hit it big.

Competitive Highlights

This is my first year racing so really i haven`t had much competition besides my brother, but everyone who sees us ride agree that we are soo fast! I have become attached to the more "Arenacross" track while my brother picked up the "Nationals" track at our local track and since we are slowly becoming experts in our fields we exchange experience and tips as we train on opposite tracks... we also have recently been practicing Arenacross whoops so we can both speed up at equal pace. Since my brother and I train together we get the chance to learn from eachother`s mistakes and help eachother with our problems. I am devoted to competition and that i will try harder and harder until i get what i am aiming for. The dedication that comes with this sport is what has kick started my activeness in it because I love it and i believe I can excel more and more with more dedication.
