Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

My dad rode dirt bikes since he was a kid. When I was little I watched him compete doing Trials. I rode my bicycle when I was 3 1/2 yrs old and rode my first motorcycle when I was 4yrs old.

List your competitive highlights

Leading the race and having a chance to win the WNYMA district against as many as 25 plus kids in the 4-8 year old class this year when I was six.

What are you planning for next season?

I am planning to go to the area qualifiers in the north east and racing in the 65 7-9 yr. old class on my new KTM. I am planning on competing in the 50 class for 7-8 yr. olds. I need to get a bike for that class yet. I really want to get a chance to compete at Loretta's.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

My first competition in motocross was at Silver Springs NY I finished 22nd in the fall of 2006 and rode my way up to 2nd place in the fall of 2007 in the same class with as much competition.

Q&A - Personal

What inspires you to compete?

It's fun. I get to see my friends. I like racing. When I win I get a big trophy. I like jumping.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

A professional motocross racer! I love how exciting it is.

Why do you like this sport?

I like the feeling of when I am riding good and I go off the jumps and I am in the air in front of the crowds.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I practice about three or four times a week. I ride when it is muddy, dusty, raining, or cold. I ride for as long as three hours at a time.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am seven years old. My birthday is in November and I was born in 2000. I have two brothers; one older and one younger. My first competition was a harescrambles race in August of 2006 on my Suzuki JR 50. I rode two more harescrambles and tried Motocross after I got a Cobra CM50.
