My Blog

My 2006 season was a very successful one. I finished second in points, had two wins and finished in the top five in every race. The season started off with a second place finish and we continued to run up front for the next two races until we had our only DNF, but we came back the next race with another second place, only losing the win by half a car length. The next two races I finished third. Then we finally scored our first win of the year under the lights, this was a great night when all of our hard work and determination payed off. The next two races went smoothly with a fifth and a third place finish. With only one race left and being only 20 points out of second in points I needed a good finish to end the year. The day started off good with a third place finish in the heat so I had a front row start for the main. I led the whole race wire to wire with Christan and Ramon closely behind. I also maneged to get second in points with Chris 60 points behind me. This was a great year, I ran constantly all year and i learned a lot. I also made a lot of great friends and I had a great time racing and hanging out with them. I would of never imagined how many great friends I would make and how close we would all be only meeting most of them a few months ago. This as been a great year, one that i will not forget, and hopefully all the following years will be this great. I would like to thank My Dad, for putting so much time and effort into making this a great year, my sponsors, MRK Motorsports and San Ynez Paint,my Mom, John, Uncle Rob and my Grandmother for comming to every race you could, Grandfather for suporting me, Christan, Reed, Justin, Micheala, Drew, Talor, Ramon, Jessica, Chris, David,Allison, Lacie, Nicole, Catie, Jennifer, Brandon, Jenna, Sara, STEVE CONRAD for being great friends and making this year a fun year, Mike and Jim for putting on such a great series.
