 My Name is Cody Gilmore, Im 19 years old, and im from Spencer, Iowa.  I have been Racing for 13 years.  In 2006 I had an unscheduled pit stop, I was diagnosed with a rare teenage cancer called Ewings Sarcoma.  I was treated at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN while undergoing surgery, Chemotherapy, and Radiation. My last Chemo treatment was at the End of May 2007. Since my diagnosis I have learned how to walk again and not only that but get back on my bike and start racing again.  I've been given a clean bill of health and every 3 months I go back for check ups.  October 7 was my first race back in 2 years. Im looking forward to getting back into racing throughout the winter and next season. Along with my racing I am still currently putting on my Riding Schools which seem to be a big hit around the midwest.
